Rev up those engines all you lovers of classic cars! The Lancaster County Cruisers are holding their 9th annual car cruise on July 5th, 2008, from 2pm to 9m. Willow Street will be “roaring” with the sounds of engines as the cars gather in the field behind the Willow Street Fire Company, located at 2601 Willow Street Pike.
What does this have to do with a Lancaster Shed Building company? Well, where do you think all these Lancaster hot-rodders keep their classic cars?! In a Fox’s Country Shed custom built garage – that’s where!
Donations are accepted for visitors to the car show, with the proceeds helping a good cause – Clare House, which provides housing and services to homeless women and their children. Unfortunately, causes such as this are necessary, and what a worthy way to assist our community. There is a registration fee to enter your car in the show, and the first 300 entries will receive a commemorative dashboard plaque. Woo hoo!
I’ve been to a number of these car shows, as we’ve shown our car at a few of them. This classy ’68 Firebird calls our garage “home sweet home”.
